Located in Mont Kiara, Wolo Mont Kiara KL takes inspiration from Kuala Lumpur itself — a city shaped by layers of history, cultures and identities.

Designed by Bangkok-based Openbox Architects, the project translates these ideas into a contemporary vertical form, drawing inspiration from layered geological forms to create architecture that feels both grounded and light.

Rather than treating the building as an isolated object, the design seeks to establish a relationship between architecture and place.

It is contemporary without being disconnected from its surroundings.

Distinctive without trying to dominate them.

And ambitious while remaining rooted in the character of Kuala Lumpur.

The Asia Pacific Property Awards provide a regional platform for recognising outstanding property and architectural work.

For Wolo Mont Kiara KL, being recognised at the Malaysia level is significant because it places the project’s architectural vision within a broader regional context — one where residential developments are increasingly expected to offer more than functionality.
